Le Pavillon CRC

The Le Pavillon CRC is a halfway house providing services of social rehabilitation and reintegration for adult offenders. Incorporated in 1982, it is accredited under the Quebec and Canada correctional services standards.

The services are offered at different stages of the correctional process (temporary absence, parole, probation, conditional sentence order) or in the context of recidivism prevention. They are provided in an open setting, as community lodging, or monitoring in the community and in the prison environment.

    Approach

The Le Pavillon CRC program aims to provide a socializing space to its clientele by helping each individual to identify all aspects of their delinquency and how to take on their social responsibilities. It therefore fosters the development of personal and social skills of offenders through individualized and group interventions.

    Programs and services

HALFWAY HOUSES RESIDENCE, LIFE IN PAVILLON AND CUSTOM INTERVENTION

A supervised stay in a community lodging facilitates the transition from the prison environment to civic life. An assessment of your profile and a personalized service and support plan frame this transition.

    LANDING

The journey from the prison environment to living in a CRC is an important first step that can often be stressful. The Pavillon team is aware of that and provides you with the support and guidance needed to “land” as peacefully as possible.

    SCREENING OF SUCIDAL IDEATION

Gaining your freedom back after a significant incarceration period can drown you in a deep disillusion that can temporarily lead to suicidal thoughts. We work alongside you to screen and overcome them.

DELINQUENCY ASSESSMENT AND ''DÉLINQUANT PARCE QUE...'' PROGRAM

The integrated model of differential intervention aims to identify the significant behavioural, social and psychological aspects of the development of delinquency. You are therefore assessed and specific actions are derived from there. Your participation in a program that helps you understand all aspects of your values and behaviour completes the evaluation of your situation.

CONSOLIDATION OF GAINS IN AN OPEN SETTING AND COMMUNITY MONITORING

The intervention goes beyond the halfway house residence. The monitoring of individuals in their social environment is unprecedented by the plethora of follow-up activities provided by Le Pavillon.

    PARTICIPATION OF FRIENDS AND RELATIVES

The important people in an offender’s life are invited to actively collaborate in the social reintegration process to facilitate success beyond the correctional environment.
