Mission
RIMAS is a corporation whose mission is to promote training and exchanges between all professionals working or having an interest or relevant experience in the field of sexual offending as clinician, researcher, administrator or student.
Goals
RIMAS aims to:
- Provide a forum for sexual abuser advocates;
- Organize a number of continuing education activities to allow for a constant update of knowledge in this rapidly evolving field;
- Develop general guidelines for the quality of assessment and treatment of sexual assaulters;
- Promote the treatment of sexual offenders;
- Promote an integrated and collaborative approach to the management of sexual offenders.
Territory served
RIMAS services are developed in order to reach all intervention workers on the Quebec territory.
