The organization Se parler… D'Hommes à Hommes Inc.'s mission is to help men engaging in violent behavior in a family or marital context as well as men experiencing emotional difficulties, to prevent violence. The organization is also involved in the community through information and education.

  • Se parler... D'Hommes à Hommes Inc.

    Se parler… D’Hommes à Hommes Inc.'s service is formed for charitable purposes and without the intention of pecuniary gain for its members. It aims for the following goals :

    • Act on poverty by offering free services to men exhibiting violent behavior or to men in difficulty who are unable to pay for services;
    • Promote health and social services, by offering men who exercise violent behavior towards their partners and / or their children a support service in order to get them to put an end to their violence;
    • Promote health and social services, by offering support services to men in difficulty, with a view to preventing violence;
    • Promote health and social services by promoting mutual aid and mutual support between participants of the target clientele;
    • Promote health and social services by offering referral and consultation services to all men who correspond to the mission of the corporation;
    • To promote the education of the general public and of students in particular by offering programs for the prevention of violence and programs for the sound management of aggression;
    • For these purposes, collect and receive donations, bequests and other contributions of the same nature in money, securities or real estate and organize fundraising campaigns with the aim of receiving funds.

    The whole cannot constitute an establishment within the meaning of the Act respecting health services and social services (LSSSS).

    Clientele

    Adult males and teenagers from 12 to 17 years old.

    Admission Conditions

    The person must meet the following criteria after the assessment:

    1. Her motivation: is she ready to get involved in her process;
    2. Responsibility: does she recognize her violent / impulsive behaviors, is she able to admit her responsibility for all of her behaviors and their impacts;
    3. Its ability to function in a group: is it able to evolve continuously within a support group or individually.

    Business Hours

    From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday evening by appointment.
