Collaboration

Advisory Committee

A permanent advisory committee has been established with the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) and the Parole Board of Canada (PBC) to ensure a role of consultation and collaboration. A second committee, in partnership with the Quebec Parole Board (QPB) and the provincial Sub-Ministry of Correctional Services (SMCS), pursues the same objectives of dialogue and coordination.

Tripartite Committee

 

A tripartite committee bringing together representatives from the SMSC and CSC to discuss issues such as minimum standards, workload management in CRFs, service development, and more.

Liaison Committees

A provincial liaison committee with the SMSC and a federal liaison committee with CSC to review and address questions related to the programs and services offered by ASRSQ members (including operational and clinical issues, the application of laws, regulations and directives, program or service development, etc.).

Internal Committees

A provincial and a federal committee designed to address all matters concerning clients under provincial and federal jurisdiction within the ASRSQ, as well as various specialized committees to deal with issues that affect you directly.

Networking

Member Meetings

Biannual meetings for members, meetings with high management of CSC and SMSC, and other social activities among our members.

Colloque de la réhabilitation sociale

A major event in the community corrections field, offering several days of workshops, training sessions, conferences, debates, and networking opportunities.
